Jesus Is Lord

and Escape theLake of Fire
Three Things You Need to Know
by Philip C Jones
1. If you are not saved when the Lord Jesus Christ comes back to take His Church out of this earth, then you will be sadly left behind. He is coming back very, very soon. This great event is called the Rapture. 1 Thessalonians 4:16,17 speaks of this glorious event. If you are not saved when He returns, then you will have to face on earth the Seven Year Tribulation. The anti-christ will begin his wicked reign at the beginning of this seven year period. You don't want to be left behind.
2. Revelation 20:15 should encourage anyone in their right mind to get saved immediately:
"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire."
3. You have no guarantee you will be here 15 seconds from now if you are not saved. If you suddenly died without being saved you would instantly go to hell and eventually end up in the lake of fire. You see, you have an enemy working around the clock to try to harm and kill you so you will end up in the lake of fire. His name is Satan. If you are not saved, the only thing keeping you at this moment from dying and going to hell is God's protective grace. Once He removes His divine protection, you will be an open target for Satan. How long will your rebellion last? Please don't test God's patience.
"Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation" (2 Corinthians 6:2b KJV).

What Will Send a Person to Hell?
1. Rejecting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
The Bible says in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Jesus Christ went to the cross and shed His blood for our sins. It says in Hebrews 9:22 that without the shedding of blood there is no remission (forgiveness) of sin. Unless a person receives Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior so his sins are forgiven, he will go to hell and eventually spend eternity in the lake of fire.
2. Works of the Flesh
"Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; adultery (Jesus said if you look at a woman with lust, you have committed adultery with her in your heart), fornication (illicit sexual intercourse), uncleanness, lasciviousness (sexually unchaste), idolatry (putting anything or anyone ahead of God), witchcraft (horoscopes, Ouija boards, tarot cards etc.), hatred (the Bible says if you hate your brother you are a murderer), variance (strife), emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God" (Galatians 5:19-21 KJV).
Are you a Christian and guilty of any of these "works of the flesh?" I encourage you to repent of such things and stop doing them because they will send you to hell.
"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21 KJV). Are you doing the will of God? The Word of God is His will.
Jesus states in Mark 11:26, "But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses."
This actually happened to a pastor. He said God allowed him to be escorted
to hell by an angel. He asked the angel why there were so many Christians in hell. The angel told him those particular Christians he was observing were there because of their unforgiveness.
Another true incident. A minister was giving a eulogy over a deceased woman reclining in her coffin in his church. He was evidently praising her for being such a good and faithful Christian when all of a sudden she popped up out of the coffin, turned to the congregation and told them what the minister was saying was not true. She said she was in hell because she had refused to forgive a sister in the Lord. She then dropped back down into her reclining position.
If your sins are not forgiven by God, then you will not inherit the kingdom of God. Walk in God's love and forgive those who have wronged you. Ask God to bless those who have hurt you. Do not let the sin of unforgiveness send you to hell.
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death" (Revelation 21:8).
Can't keep from lying? Repent of this evil, it will surely send you to hell. God is not the God of liars. Do you lie to your relatives? Do you lie to friends? Do you lie to strangers? Do you lie to the government? Is lying worth spending eternity in the lake of fire? Immediately repent of lying and live holy.
Let me share with you a testimony. A pastor relates in his vision of hell how an angel explained to him, "There are two kinds of people in hell. One kind is those who did not believe in Jesus. Those who did not believe in Jesus come to hell 100 percent. The other kind is the people who went to church but died without repenting."
Charles Spurgeon said, "There is no going to heaven with one sin ruling within us."
Do not continue to live with even one sin in your life. Repent of it. Turn away from it. Is one sin worth missing heaven and spending eternity in the lake of fire?

Will You be One of the Few to Enter Heaven's Gates?
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" (Matthew 7:13-14 KJV).
Receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior allows you to be instantly forgiven of all sin and gives you right standing with God. Hebrews 9:22b says that "without shedding of blood is no remission (forgiveness)." Romans 3:23 states "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." That means we have all broken at least one of the Ten Commandments and deserve to die and go to hell. Romans 6:23 says "For the wages (price) of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." But according to Romans 5:8, "God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, (breakers of God's laws) Christ died for us." Jesus Christ paid the price for your sins on the cross and died, went to hell and was resurrected so you could be saved and spend eternity with God.
Don't spend eternity in the lake of fire. Receive God's free gift of eternal life now and have your name written in heaven.

Want Mountain Moving Faith?
The Lord gave the following words to a Christian to speak out loud. The Lord encouraged the Christian to declare these words often until they became a reality in his heart. And of course the more time you spend declaring these powerful words, the quicker the results.
"There is no lack of faith with me. If I were to come to the end of my faith, then the Father gives me the very faith of Christ and it is impossible for me not to believe."
